This spot says they have the best sandwiches in town. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. Everything is made to order and They let me try their popular rays way sando. It had A crispity crunchy yet pillowy chewy bread, a TON of lightly smokey umami savory tender quality pastrami, cheesy Swiss cheese, nutty fresh lettuce, mild cucumbery crunchy pickles and like a mayoy sauce. Yall know I’m not a mayo girly but in this sando it actually worked. Things can get a bit heavy and rich cuz of all that meat which I guess is a good thing. But Overall this place is lowkey pretty good $17.99

4.8/5 for their BECA sandwich. Really light and flavorful. All the ingredients blended all well together. Bread was also really delicious. Cant wait to try their other items.

Took me a while to post a review because I was torn between 4 and 5 stars. I think in the end, the great service won me over. Definitely small business vibe with very friendly service. Heard about the place on social and happened to be in Glendale so stopped by. Parking is tight, but we got lucky with street parking which is 30 mins just in front of the store. They have two dedicated spots in front as well. We tried the smokin pastrami breakfast sandwich which was magnificent and can easily feed two. Fluffy light bread and perfect mix of meat, eggs, avocado and cheese. Five stars for sure. Make sure to get there before noon to try it out. Also tried the #8, pastrami Rays Way which was recommended as one of the sandwiches that put them on the map. I really wasn’t a fan. Really wanted the pastrami to stand out, but it got lost in the sandwich and didn’t really taste the meat until I deconstructed it but then was a pretty skinny sandwich :) unlike the breakfast sandwich which you don’t expect the pastrami to stand out as much, this sandwich was supposed to pop with pastrami. Did I get a smaller portion than normal or just too much lettuce and aioli? Flavors were there, so will be b

I’d been stalking Corner Market in Glendale on Instagram for a while, bookmark set, just waiting for the right moment. When I finally went, turned out the timing was almost perfect: I’d shown up once before at 5:25 only to find out they stopped taking orders at 5:15. That made today’s lunch run feel like a redemption tour. The spot lives right on a corner (hence the name) and the parking? Easy. Street spots, no stress. Inside it's part market, part sandwich laboratory. Chips, drinks, little grocery items lining shelves while behind the counter they’re full-on making sandwiches. Family-owned vibe, and it shows. Service was smooth, friendly, and efficient. I asked the staff what to try and they pointed me to the Pastrami Ray’s Way. Around $19 (no chips or drink), but they load it up enough that you're feeling like you got your money’s worth. The bread was the standout: crunchy crust, fluffy inside. This is a rare to find that balance and they nailed it. Inside, the pastrami was juicy, the slaw added a nice texture mix, and the whole thing just worked. Found this place because of an app that lists restaurants that do not use seed oils in their food. While I am not sure what kind of oils they use in their aolis for their freshly made and delicious sandwiches, I can attest that the chips and prepackaged food items do list seed oils on the ingredient list. Having said all that, it does not take away how cute this true neighborhood place is, how friendly the staff is, and most importantly, how delicious those freshly made sandwiches are. The bread is as we all know a very important part of the sandwich and it is delicious. Keep up the good work. I will definitely be back and work my way through their sandwich offerings when I am in the area.
